Guayusa energy tea leaves fresh
or dried, extract available in

The tea leaves are
derived from a tree called Ilex
guayusa. A tall tree native to the
eastern montaρa of Ecuador and
Peru. (Amazonian forest)
There is a story that a
bundle of guayusa tea leaves
1,500-years-old was found in a
tomb which goes far beyond the
natural range of the plant. This
story gives a glimpse of its usage
and impact on early civilizations in
South America.
Guayusa is known for
its primary attribute 2% caffeine,
also guayusa contains guanidine.
Functioning as a balanced
stimulant, some people say that
guayusa promotes restful sleep
and good dreams. Unlike coffee, it
is said to be good for excessive
acidity and other problems in the
stomach and bile. It is both
energizing and relaxing at the
same time and develops mental
strength.
