Performance Characteristics:
Vacuum deairing with fine steel, it is easy for cutting after quenching, high hardness, good abrasion resistance, dimension stability and minimal distortion.
Applications:
It is suitable for cutting tools, such as broach, filament hammer and gauge and complex shape of cold mould, plastic mould, precise screw, etc.
Chemical Composition (%):

0.85~0.95 ≤0.40 0.90~1.20 0.70~1.20 ≤0.25 0.50~0.80 ≤0.30 ≤0.030 ≤0.030
Heat Treatment Standard:
Quenching, 800 ~ 830 centigrade cold oil.
Forging:
Oil quenching cold die has crack sensitivity, so it should not be quickly heated, it had better for a preheating in 650-750 centigrade. The temperature of forging is 1130-1150 centigrade, eventually temperature should be more than 800-850 centigrade, steel ingot take upper limit temperature. while blank forging take lower temperature.
