Likondjela Trading Enterprises is a registered SME company established in 2005 by a sole owner. The company started by selling cosmetics in small quantities and slowly moved into other business areas. In 2006 I was awarded a tender by the Roads Authority to construct 14km of gravel road using labour based construction methods. After successful completion of the project, another one was awarded, the construction of earth dams in the Oshikoto region. This one is still going on. In the mean time different departments were established. These include opening medium shops in rural areas were different products are being sold at affordable prices. On construction side we want to move from only doing labour based construction to bitumen work and we are in consultation with the Roads Authority for possible training in this area. On trading side, we are looking forpossible ways of getting products from manufacturers or wherever at reasonable prices so that we can expand our shops to cities and b
