Simplemente Madera Group Ltd. is a vertically-integrated hardwood timber-growing, processing and product manufacturing business. With headquarters in Managua, Nicaragua, we have the largest logging operation in Central America. Our extensive wood-processing and manufacturing facilities produce tropical timber, dried sawn wood and hardwood products like construction lumber, siding, ceilings, furniture, decking, flooring, moldings, and modular housing.
We harvest from the 30,000 acres of FSC controlled-wood certified forests that we acquired, with Nicaraguan government encouragement, after Hurricane Felix knocked down millions of trees in the northeastern part of the country. We also plan to harvest in the future from three Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) plantations located in climatically-diverse areas of Nicaragua.
