Digital Hydrant Metered Standpipes:-

Flowtech Water Meters is an Australian owned design and manufacturing company based on the Gold Coast Queensland.

Flowtech has been designing and manufacturing Digital Metered Hydrant Standpipes since 1993 and has long been recognised as the Australian industry leader in this form of technology.

With a Research and Development focus on both new products development, plus continually improving our existing proven range of products, Flowtech recently released the Omega Series of Digital Metered Hydrant Standpipes along with a new range of custom stainless steel DN80 Hydrant fittings.

Hydratest Fire Fighting Performance Testing:-

Hydratest is a dual parameter pressure and flow rate testing device used by many Councils and Hydraulic Consultants throughout Australia.

It enables simple and accurate testing of any fire hydrants performance standard, in accordance with Australian Fire fighting standards [typically AS2419].

Hydratest is an indispensible diagnostic tool for any Water Services Manager to have at his disposal. Importantly, a typical performance test takes only about 1 minute to complete.

Hydratest is a complete diagnostics test unit that can be used to conduct a wide range of diagnostic tests, not only on Fire Hydrants and Risers, but also the broader Reticulation Network itself.

Typical tests able to be carried out using Hydratest includes:
> Identifying Pipeline/Mains Restrictions
> Dropped Gate/Control Valves in Mains
> Tuberculosis in Hydrants and Risers
> Fire Fighting performance & Compliance
> Planned Reticulation System expansion
> Service/Sub division adequacy tests
