Physical & Chemical properties:

Sodium metabisulfite is white or yellow crystalline powder or crystals, with a strong smell of

SO2, specific gravity is 1.4, soluble in water, acidic aqueous solution, contact with strong acids

are released SO2 and generate the corresponding salts, for a long time in the air and oxidized

to Na2S2O6, Products can't long-term exposed to the air. Higher than 150℃ Namely, after the decomposition get SO2. soluble in water, acidic aqueous solution. Soluble

in glycerin, slightly soluble in ethanol.
