Product name: Aluminum Stearate Defoamer DEFA

Product description: DEFA is a blend of aluminum stearate and modified fatty acid derivatives. It is a water dispersible premium grade defoamer.

Application/Function: DEFA is used specifically as a defoamer in most type of water based drilling fluids.

Advantages: Decreases surface and internal foam
Provides increased accuracy in measuring mud density
Stabilizes rheological measurements
Stabilizes pump pressure

Appearance: Amber liquid
Density: 0.85 - 1.00 g/cm3
Solubility: Dispersible in water

Recommended Treatment: Add DEFA in concentration of 1.0 to 5.0 liters per 1000 liters to any system. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.
Package and storage: 25kg drums or according to customer’s requirement.
Avoid high-intensity extreme pressure and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
